In 1907 Frank Burie (Ferenc Pury) came to to the United States from Banatski Brestovac in Serbia. (map) A year later his wife, Katharine, joined him along with their first four children.
A mere century later, the family has grown from their initial eleven children to include hundreds of descendants over the next five generations!
